Late Sun Radio / Artists
For artists
The truth about our artist deal
Make lofi house, chill house or warm, deep instrumentals? We’re building the station’s library with independent producers, and the deal fits on one screen.
You give
- Permission to play your tracks on the Late Sun Radio channel: the 24/7 stream, mixes, Shorts and short clips.
- Non-exclusive. Nothing else.
You keep
- Every right to your music.
- Release it, sell it, license it to anyone else.
- The right to end it with 30 days’ notice.
You get
- Your name and track title on screen while it plays.
- Your Spotify link in every description.
- A spot in the Late Sun Radio playlist, with its QR code on screen.
$0 either way.
No fee to send music, no fee to be played.
We never claim your tracks, remix them, resell them, or use your music to train AI. Nothing plays until you’ve signed a short permission agreement with a plain-English summary on top.
The line-up
Who’s on the station?
Right now, every track is Late Sun Radio’s own. Guest artists join from Vol. 2; the first messages go out October 13.
When an artist says yes, their name goes on screen while their track plays. Not before.
Submit
Before you send: the full permission agreement (plain English on top). Nothing plays until we’ve both signed it.
Before you ask
5 things producers ask us
Does it cost anything to send a track?
No. There’s no fee either way: nothing to send music, nothing to be played. You keep every right, and either of us can end it with 30 days’ notice.
My tracks are in Content ID. Can I still send them?
Yes. You (or your distributor) add our channel to the allowlist, or release any claim within 5 business days of our note. We never register your tracks ourselves.
Can I take a track out later?
Yes. Give us 30 days’ notice and it leaves the rotation. Mixes already published can stay up, unless you ask us in writing to take them down, which we do within 30 days.
Will you use my music to train AI?
Never. It’s in the agreement: we don’t use your tracks to train, fine-tune or test any AI model, and we don’t let anyone else do it for us.
I made my track with an AI tool. Can I still send it?
Tell us honestly on the form. YouTube asks us to label AI-generated music, and we label it based on what you tell us. Any answer is fine; it just has to be true.
